2000

These 2000 crosses represent the 2000 American lives lost

in Iraq since March of 2003. Take a moment to scroll

through them all and think about the Fathers, sons,

brothers, Moms, sisters and daughters who gave their

lives for a war that was started with lies by our

President and his advisors and then approved

with votes by Congress. Remember that the

main stream media broadcast the lies as

the truth. Consider that 2000 is the number that the

government is reporting and that they lie. Also, that

is the number reported killed in Iraq. That number

doesn't include the injured soldiers who died

after being evacuated. It doesn't include the thousands

of soldiers with broken minds and bodies laying in military

hospitals. The number doesn't include the thousands of

Iraqi civilians, including women and children who were

also killed and are being killed today in a war that the

President started with lies. He knew they were lies.

He doesn't care that people are dying. His kids aren't

fighting- he never fought. No one in Bush's inner circle

of liars ever spent a day in battle. But they have no

problem sending American kids to die for the lies.

Unfortunately this number will grow. Unless enough

people speak up and let the govenment know that we

won't stand for it. If every person who says they are

against this war took the time to turn off the TV and

spent 20 minutes, say 3 days a week, and called their

representatives or wrote them a letter or an

email and let them know how disgusted they are with

the war and how wrong it is for them to follow a

President who lied to start a war, maybe things

would change. Maybe not. Maybe they don't care

either. But if we just sit, this number will rise.

Next it will be your child or grandchild or Father or

Mother that will die for the lie. If you don't believe in

this war, find a way to express it. Join a protest.

Be heard. Start a website. Light a candle.

Don't be a part of the lie.

Be sure to scroll all the way to the bottom.

Each cross used to be a life that died for a lie.
